Valentine's Cookie Decorating Class
Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies?! Alicia from Royally Sweet Cookies is here to help! In this 2 hour class, we’ll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you’ll need is provided at class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (we’ll even provide the apron ). FREE DRINK included with your class ticket!
This month we will be doing a Woodland Animals set.
You’ll leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies plus a few cool techniques we’ll cover in class. We look forward to having you with us!

Abbey Spencer
Abby Spencer is not a new name in music. She has a unique sound that has been developing since she was just 10 years old. And chances are if you’re into the Wisconsin Dells area nightlife you have probably already been introduced. She has opened for national acts like Derek Jones, Midnight River Choir, Jamie Lin Wilson, Courtney Patton, Alex Williams, Joe Stamm Band, Shenandoah, and more. In 2018, Abby opened more doors by soloing around the Midwest in various venues. She considers herself country with a gritty undertone and identifies with artists like Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, and Ashley McBryde. By 2019, Abby became an active member of the Midwest CMO. She additionally founded the band The Holler in 2019. The Holler is a popular group in the Midwest that successfully delivers live music goers country music to drink to. In 2022 Abby finally dove into songwriting, sharing her heartfelt stories that audiences of all kinds can relate to. Releasing two singles in 2023 lead Abby to be nominated for the Midwest Country Music Organization's New Artist of the Year, as well as Music Video of the Year.

Hat Burning Workshop
Grab a friend and come learn a new fun craft, no artistic experience necessary! You choose your hat style and color and I bring all the tools, patterns and accessories to burn your own wearable piece of art!
What you get: choice of hat between flat brim rancher style, curved western cowgirl hat or two trucker baseball hats. Your choice of unlimited stencils and a hat bar filled with ribbons, charms, dried flowers and accessories to create your own unique hat band. Class takes approximately 2 hours.

Cooking 101 - Indian Cuisine
Discover the Flavors of India at Cooking 101!
Are you ready to spice up your culinary skills and explore the vibrant world of Indian cuisine? Join us for Cooking 101, where food, culture, and fun come together for an unforgettable evening.
Led by our talented culinary manager, Jesse, this event will take you on a flavorful journey through the distinctive techniques, ingredients, and philosophy behind Indian cooking. Jesse will demonstrate how to create iconic dishes, and you’ll even have the chance to get hands-on with simple tasks like mixing, kneading, or plating. Don’t worry – all activities are designed to keep you safe, with no sharp tools or high heat involved. As we finish making the meal, we will discuss cocktails and other beverages that complement the bold flavors of Indian cuisine. Jesse will show you how to make one such cocktail. After the cooking demonstration, we’ll gather to enjoy a meal together.
Your ticket includes the meal, a cocktail or mocktail, and a recipe sheet, so you can recreate the dishes at home.

Cooking 101 - Plant-Based Meals
Discover the art of plant-based cooking in this engaging class designed for food enthusiasts of all levels. Led by our talented culinary director, Jesse, this session will introduce you to popular ingredients to assure proper nutrition, creative flavor combinations, and the many benefits of plant-based cuisine.
Throughout the class, you’ll have the opportunity to assist in preparing a variety of dishes and learn how to create satisfying, nutritious meals that are packed with flavor. The session concludes with a shared meal, allowing participants to enjoy the fruits of their labor together in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.

NYE Party!
Celebrate New Year's Eve with us at Water Street Social Club!
We're featuring three possible dinner options:
Prime Rib
Slow roasted herb-crusted prime rib, garlic mashed potatoes, maple-roasted baby carrots, horseradish sauce and au jus. $50
Hot Nashville Roasted Chicken
½ chicken roasted and coated in hot Nashville rub, garlic mashed potatoes, and maple-roasted baby carrots. $35
Mediterranean Quinoa Bowl
Quinoa, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, shaved onions, feta cheese, spinach, tossed in oregano vinaigrette. $18
And an array of appetizers/sides will be served.
We'll also have a few dessert items, wine/cocktail/mocktail pairings, etc.
After dinner service, we'll have the Madtown Mannish Boys Blues band perform from 9 - 12:30, with a complimentary champagne toast as we ring in the new year. (There is a $10 cover charge for the music performance to help pay the musicians.)

Ugly Sweater Meat Raffle from 1:30pm-3:30pm. Water Street Social Club as the gracious hosts! Free prize and drink giveaways during each round as well as white elephant gifts for anyone in attendance with an ugly sweater on. Come and join in the holiday cheer and hopefully walk away with some meat!!
Honey Pies
The Honey Pies is an exciting collaboration of Madison-based music veterans. Jodi Jean Amble made a major splash in the Chicago scene fronting her eponymous band—nominally jazz, but equally at home with pop, country, and more—and as a member of the highly eclectic ensemble Jenny Dragon. Tom Waselchuk leads the MAMA Award-winning Americana band The Dang-Its and has performed for more than twenty years in a free-swinging guitar duo with multi-instrumentalist Doug Brown. Doug has long been among the most in-demand freelance sidemen on the Madison music scene in a variety of genres, as well as being a band-leader, composer, and arranger. Matt Rodgers is among southern Wisconsin’s busiest bass players, equally at home in most any style of music.
The Honey Pies combine an extensive range of musical backgrounds, a notable depth of experience, crystal
vocal harmonies, and virtuoso instrumental skills to create their unique take on the best of traditional, contemporary, and original Americana music.
A $10 cover will be charged at the door. All proceeds go to the artists
Holly Jolly Winter Market
Join us for our first annual Winter Market at Water Street Social Club!
Just in time for your holiday shopping, we will have a variety of vendors including homemade crafts, to beauty products, to household names such as Norwex, Pampered Chef, and Tupperware!
The market will coincide with the Holly Jolly event happening in Sauk Prairie on Saturday, December 7th.
Stop in and shop, and stick around for a bite to eat or a warm, winter drink!

Holiday Cocktail Class
Come join us for a fun cocktail 101 class for the holiday season!
Our very own cocktail artist, Tricia, will walk you through a brief introduction of the spirits we will be using before showing you how to craft 4 of our signature holiday themed cocktails!
Your ticket includes one of each of the 4 cocktails, and a recipe sheet so you can make your favorite cocktails at home!
This event will be held in the Rivertop Speakeasy at Water Street Social Club. This space is ADA accessible.
If you would like to order food during this event, please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes early to order food at the bar before the class begins. Water Street does not offer table service in the speakeasy at this time.

Christmas Cookie Decorating
nterested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies?! Alicia from Royally Sweet Cookies is here to help! In this 2 hour class, we’ll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you’ll need is provided at class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (we’ll even provide the apron ). FREE DRINK included with your class ticket!

Jazz Brunch
Local jazz phenom, Kai , will perform during our brunch from about 10 to 11:30 or so. Brunch will be served from 9:30 until about 1:00.
All donations at the bar will go to the performer.
